The In Mare Foundation named after Piotr Kamiński was founded by Aleksandra Kamińska, the widow of a sailor who died in a ship accident. The Foundation was created for all those who lost what is most precious to them to the sea. We support both sailors after accidents and their families by providing, among others, financial, material, and psychological assistance.
The Foundation’s mission is to provide effective and measurable assistance to those in need whose lives have radically changed due to an accident or illness at sea. The Foundation’s activity aims to fill the often significant gaps in insurance protection for sailors and their families.
Foundations supporting sailors and their families are created for those who have dedicated their lives to the sea, often facing dangers and difficult working conditions. Their main goal is to provide assistance to sailors after accidents, their loved ones, and families who have lost their relatives at sea.
